The Plant and Animal Health Strategy for Canada was co-created by public and private sector partners across Canada. The multi-partner Canadian Plant Health Council was formed shortly after to oversee implementation of the plant health activities identified in the strategy.
Biosecurity practices are critical to protecting farms and assuring that agri-food trade is not disrupted. We all know that it is easier to keep a pest out rather than manage it once it arrives. Do you practice biosecurity? If so, what kinds of things do you do? If not, why not? The Council wants to hear from you!
The survey should take you less than 8 minutes to complete. The information collected will be used by the Canadian Plant Health Council and its working groups to help direct a multi-partner communications campaign to increase awareness and uptake of biosecurity practices. Participation is voluntary, confidential and anonymous.
All data collected is protected under the Privacy Act and The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). No data that can be traced to respondents will be released. To safeguard respondent identity and to ensure the confidentiality of responses, responses will always be grouped, and no data will be made available for groups of fewer than 10 respondents. Individual responses will never be published or shared with third parties.
