SURVEY ON SWATHGRAZING USE BY WESTERN CANADIAN COW-CALF PRODUCERS
Introduction
This survey research is funded by Alberta’s Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR) and is being conducted by researchers at the University of Saskatchewan and Lakeland College. The purpose is to understand the use of swathgrazing and spring residue cleanup by western Canadian cow-calf operations. Your responses will help promote strategies that will advance the Canadian beef industry. Please be assured this study is for research purposes only.
This survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete, depending on your responses. Since your time is valuable, we will provide you with financial compensation for your participation. After you complete your survey and we verify the completeness of your responses, we will send you a cheque or an email money transfer.
Cow-calf producers DO NOT have to be currently swathgrazing to participate in this survey, we are looking to learn from adopters, non-adopters and dis-adopters of this practice. Please note that only one survey per operation will be accepted.
Note that you can save your work as you complete this survey. If you get partway through and decide to complete the survey later, simply re-click the survey link to resume where you left off.
