Pandemic Effect: Exploring Covid-19’s Impact on Ontario’s Women-led Digital Media Businesses
is a study being conducted by
CFC Media Lab
in partnership with
OCAD University’s Super Ordinary Laboratory
The aim of the study is to share insights from the perspective of Ontario’s women entrepreneurs in digital media as they navigate the unprecedented disruption wrought by COVID-19.Through this survey and participatory design workshops, the Pandemic Effect will identify
the core changes experienced by female entrepreneurs and the most effective strategies and supports implemented in response
. Insights gained through this project will provide guidance and support women digital media entrepreneurs as they face an increasingly uncertain future. Research will build on the feminist business principles embedded in the CFC Media Lab’s Fifth Wave Initiative.
By participating in this survey you will be eligible to receive an invitation to a co-laboration workshop with other women-led digital media companies and facilitated by Super Ordinary Laboratory. All survey respondents can also sign-up to receive a downloadable deck of COVID-related digital trends as well as a link to the final report.
The survey has 9 sections:
The first section focuses on the health and viability of your business in these uncertain times.
Sections 2 to 9 ask you to select the degree of impact COVID-19 Pandemic related changes have had on your business or are likely to have in the future.
The survey should take about 20-25 minutes and will close on September 28, 2020.
